Kicking the tires

So...I made it in one piece (as far as I can tell)...in the US of A, living the American dream...or something...

Well, as chaotic as it was, I made it here, and made it through the week...don't ask me how...getting here was a blur. Between wrapping up the remnants of my life, finishing a project and a report at 1:45am the morning of the day I was leaving, saying my goodbyes to all and sundry in a mad rush, and packing and getting on the plane, I was pretty done by the time I got on...

The week was good though, got into New York on Sunday and headed down to Raleigh, in North Carolina on Monday...beautiful part of the world down there, if a little quiet! It was fun...no rest for the wicked, straight into work my second day in the US, but fun nonetheless.

I'm now officially a corporate warrior again, complete with BlackBerry
and all, as well as Vista...hmmm...we shall see how that works out! Suit and tie and all that good stuff of course...funny, as much as somethings change, others don't...seemed like deja vu getting back into the business situation with my new work! Oh wait, it is deja vu...I worked here before and it's an awesome place to work :>

Anyway, it's time to hit the city, kick the tires, see what it's got and what it has to offer. So far, all is good...I guess I'll be checking in more often, and posting pics at some stage, for those who care.

For now...I must be off...
